Creating and managing organizations

How to create and manage your organization in Cuez Admin: settings, ownership, and the overall organization hierarchy.

An organization is the top-level container in Cuez Admin. It maps to a broadcaster, media company, or publishing group, for example. All groups, workspaces, and members in Cuez Admin exist within an organization.

How organizations are created

New organizations are provisioned by Cuez staff during customer onboarding. You do not create an organization yourself. When you are onboarded in the Cuez suite as a customer, Cuez sets up the organization and grants you owner access.

If you need a new organization created, contact [email protected].

What organization owners can do

Once your organization is provisioned, you, as the owner, can manage everything within it:

  • View and edit the organization name and logo

  • See a summary of members, groups, lists, media libraries, and news feeds on the Dashboard

  • Create and manage groups, sub-groups, and workspaces

  • Invite members and manage their roles

  • Configure all product settings: feeds, AI models, media libraries, social accounts, web publishing, block repositories, and API keys

Managing organization settings

Navigate to 'Settings' in the left sidebar to update your organization-level configuration.

Organization Name - the name displayed throughout the Admin interface. Click the name field, make your change, and click 'Save changes'.

Organization Logo - upload a logo for your organization (PNG, JPEG, GIF, or WebP, max 5 MB). Click the upload area or drag a file onto it to upload.

Spell Check - set the default spell-check language for scripts in Storydesk. Select a language from the 'Default Spell Check Language' dropdown and save.

AI Story Discovery - enable or disable automatic story discovery. Use the 'Enable AI Story Discovery' toggle to turn it on or off.

Organization logo and name (Groups page)

You can also update your organization logo and name from the 'Groups' page. Select your organization at the top of the group tree (marked ‘Top level’), then go to the ‘Settings’ tab in the right panel.

Switching between organizations

If you belong to more than one organization, use the organization switcher in the top-left corner of the header to switch between them. See Logging in and account setup for details.
