Cuez Admin uses Kinde for authentication, a third-party identity provider that handles login for all Cuez products. This means one login and one account works across Admin, Rundown, and Storydesk. When you navigate to Cuez Admin, you are redirected to the Kinde login screen before entering the application. Kinde's login screen is expected to look different from the Cuez Admin interface.
Logging in
Cuez Admin has two regional environments: use admin.cuez.app for EU-hosted organizations, or us.admin.cuez.app for US-hosted organizations. If you're not sure which applies to you, check the URL you were given when your account was set up.
You are redirected to the Kinde login screen.
Enter your email and password, or use your organization's SSO if configured.
After a successful login, you land on the Cuez Admin 'Dashboard'.
Following a direct link
If someone sends you a direct link to a specific page in Cuez Admin (for example, a link to your organization's Members page), logging in will take you directly to that page. You do not need to navigate manually from the Dashboard after logging in.
Switching between organizations
If you belong to more than one Cuez organization, you can switch between them using the organization switcher in the top-left corner of the sidebar. It shows your current organization name with a chevron icon (for example, "Acme News ↕").
Click the switcher to select a different organization. The session updates automatically. You do not need to log out and log back in.
If you follow a deep link that belongs to a different organization than the one you are currently viewing, Cuez Admin switches to the correct organization automatically.
Resetting your password
Password reset is handled through Kinde. On the Kinde login screen, click 'Forgot password' and follow the steps to receive a reset email.
Troubleshooting
"The login screen looks different from Cuez Admin": Kinde handles authentication, and its branding is separate from Cuez. This is expected.
"I cannot log in, and I do not have a Kinde account": You must be invited to the organization first. There is no sign-up option, so access is by invitation only. Ask your organization owner or group admin to send you an invitation. The invitation email will prompt you to set up your account.
"I only see a list of projects after logging in": Your account is a Member. Members see the Storydesk and Rundown projects they were added to. If the list is empty, ask your organization owner to add you to a group or project. See Understanding roles in Cuez Admin for more details.
