Categories group your block templates in Blockz. Good category structure makes it faster for engineers and administrators to find the right block, especially in large template libraries.
Creating a category
In the Blockz editor, open any template in 'Editing' mode
Click the category dropdown in the header bar
Click 'Create category' at the bottom of the dropdown
The new category is created with the name New Category, and the template you’re editing is assigned to it automatically. Rename it inline and press Enter to confirm.
Assigning a template to a category
Click the category dropdown in the template's header and select the category you want. A checkmark shows the currently assigned category. A template can only belong to one category at a time. To remove a template from its category, click the checked category again.
Templates not assigned to a category appear under 'Uncategorized'.
Renaming or deleting a category
Click the category dropdown, then click the '···' button next to the category name. From there, you can rename it inline or delete it.
Deleting a category does not delete the templates inside it; they move to 'Uncategorized'.
